Apps that I have found that I find useful as a teacher.

AppPriceDrop - Looks for the lowest prices on Apple products. You can type the name of an app you are looking for, then set an alert to let you know when the price drops.

DropboxInstall Dropbox on your computer and your iPad and easily transfer and share files between the two. Requires free registration.

Evernote - Evernote lets you take notes, capture photos, create to-do lists, record voice reminders--and makes these notes completely searchable, whether you are at home, at work, or on the go. Install on your computer as well. Requires free registration.

neu.Annotate PDF - Read and annotate PDF documents. Annotate with drawings, highlighting text, text notes, photos, and stamps. Annotations are compatible with Apple Preview and Adobe Acrobat! Annotated PDF files can be shared via email as well as exported to iTunes. Individual pages can also be shared in PNG and JPG formats, in addition to PDF.

Skitch for iPad - Use shapes, arrows, sketches and text annotation to get your point across fast. Mark up photos, screenshots, maps, and webpages then share them with anyone you like.

PrintForte Lite (free) - connects to a local printer.

PrintForte - I paid for the upgrade as I felt the extras are worth it.

AR (Accelerated Reader) - AR is a supplemental reader program we use at my school and students can log in and take quizzes on the leveled books they have read.

Goodreads - Keeps track of books I read, allows me to rate them, has several good free books.

My bookmarks/web links page - I made this Web Link into an icon to access from the iPad screen:
